Dallas is the owner and publisher of Gathering Magazine and is responsible for the overall operations and administration of the magazine.
She has a passion for community and has created and led several outreaches over the years – mostly benefiting people experiencing homelessness. She also connects people and organizations to service projects. Her mission is to educate the community about people in need and the organizations and individuals who are serving them, so that people will know how they can step up to volunteer. As we all work and serve in unity, we will see results that will benefit many. She is the writer and creator of uplifting and motivating devotionals, as well as curricula for churches designed to help assimilate people and encourage them to serve. In addition to her hands-on experience of leadership and volunteerism in the community, she has researched many issues affecting society through her Master’s Degree in Sociology.

Vivian is responsible for sales of advertisements and subscriptions; she also liaises with businesses who are interested in partnering with Gathering.
Vivian had the original idea for Gathering Magazine in 2003-2004. Her mission was to unify our church and our community in love and service. She still has that dream. She has years of experience with inside and outside sales and client relations.

Sharita is responsible for our community and public relations. She also assists with writing and editing each issue of Gathering.
Sharita is a dedicated wife and mother of two. Hailing from Chicago, now a proud New Orleanian, she holds a BA in Public Relations from Tulane University. She has handled public relations for many community events and organizations, both big and small. Sharita is the Founder and CEO of Idell Media Group –a Public Relations and Lifestyle Event Company passionate about helping businesses and individuals “discover the PURPOSE in their PR”!
